A Brief Overview...

Calvary has been in operation in Union City as an Assemblies of God Church since 1952. Founded by Pastor Dean, it saw steady growth and influence for many years.

Located at 720 North Plum Street in Union City, Indiana, Calvary is situated across the street from Randolph Eastern School Corporation. This location over the years has seen the acquisation of three properties and two building programs. The original structure is now used for a fellowship hall and discipleship. The fellowship hall is named Dean Hall after the founding pastor of Calvary.

The rest of the original building consists of offices for administration, student ministries, a food pantry, pastor's study, a gallery, new front foyer, and classrooms. In 2018 the old entrance and bell tower was converted into the church's Prayer Tower. A second floor was added in the past few years and is used for storage and Loft Studios, which produces materials and displays for Calvary and other churches throughout the region.

The worship at Calvary is a blend of contemporary music and worship songs popular through the decades. Traditional hymns are still used at offering time.

Pastor Brian has ministered consecutively at Calvary since Easter of 2009. You can learn more about him on our About Our Pastor page.

Calvary is led by a leadership team derived of Trustee Members and long-standing leaders of the congregation. Our governance is dictated by our By-Laws and the Indiana District of the Assemblies of God. Calvary is affiliated with the General Council of the Assemblies of God in Sprinfield, Missouri. (ag.org)

We hope you can glean enough from our website to come and join us in a service very soon. God bless you!
